My name is Miriam Alexander, and I am a registered Speech-Language Pathologist. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from India. I began my career in India working at a hospital, and after relocating to Canada in 2015, I transitioned to working within a school district. I have experience supporting children from Kindergarten through Grade 7, providing direct therapy and conducting assessments for students with a range of speech and language challenges.
I am passionate about working with children, which is why I chose this profession. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience working with children with developmental language delays, speech sound disorders, stuttering, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and hearing impairments.
